We can advise you about any dispute that may arise regarding your children following the breakdown of your marriage, relationship or civil partnership.
Parents cannot always agree where their children should live or how often the other parent should see the children following a separation. Some parents have disagreements about specific issues relating to their children, such as which school they are to attend. Others would like to prevent certain things from taking place during visits, for example prohibiting contact between the children and a parent’s new partner.
We can help you negotiate arrangements, boundaries and how the children’s time should be shared. If required and appropriate, we will refer you to mediation, an independent third party organisation designed to assist separating couples achieve agreement together. Failing this, we can assist and support you through the court process.
